In January, LA Stop the Traffik hosted our largest event of the year, a screening of California’s Forgotten Children- a documentary telling the stories of brave survivors of human trafficking. The documentary was directed by UCLA alumni Melody Miller and was followed by a question and answer panel by survivors of human trafficking whose stories of survival and overcoming hardships were explored in the film. Both our hearts and minds grew that night . We would like to thank Melody, the impeccable survivors, the Bruin Belles, and the theatre crew for helping LAST to continue to advocate for community awareness on human trafficking. Thank you to all who came and to those who supported us on our mission to combat human trafficking!
